Laboratory Introduction
Paolo Piersanti is an Assistant Professor in the School of Science and Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the City University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Emeritus Professor Philippe G. Ciarlet, focusing on the mathematical justification of dimensionally reduced models for linearly elastic shells with obstacles. Prior to his current position, he was a Zorn Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University Bloomington, working with Distinguished Professor Roger M.
